lil homemaker

while looking for another job,

i have soo much time on my hands.

i'm not complaining, just

only sometimes i get bored.

so i've taken to be a home maker

just like my momma. haha...

laundry, cleaning the bathroom,

and cooking LOTS!

and going for long walks down

crown st. or chinatown for some coffee.

yesterday, i discovered glebe.

glebe is a hood that has the cutest, most

eclectic type of coffee shops around town.

i found a little bookstore

called Sappho's. they had

a hidden wine/cafe bar in the back.

they have musicians perform at nite

in their sheltered, graffiti-ed courtyard.

(i luv it). i'm gonna hafta check that out!

a few nites ago i made cayenne rubbed

chicken with avocado salsa.

and tonite i made broiled prawn scampi

with butternut squash and mushrooms.

but it's no fun only cooking for one.

i wish you guys were here so i

could cook for you too!

i'm learning a lot though

and having fun cooking!

soon i'll be making friends and then

i won't be having to cook for one...

ps- i bought the prawns at the fish market today. it cost me $13 for a kilo! i have soo much! i froze a lot. it looks like i will be making a lotta prawn meals. :)

this is why i luv bondi beach so much.

just look at the super white sand

and the crystal clear water.

moments like these

malaysian model i know.

she goes by li ming now.

don't know why they changed

her name, cuz carolyn is lovely...

anyway, i'm very happy for her.

she's one of the few vancouver

models i know who are making it big.

i spy with my little eye

nucha came to visit me from bkk!

that was fun and exciting.

we did a lotta touristy stuff

like go see the opera house,

the botanical gardens,

manly beach...

and proceed to eat lots and lots

of food and drink lots and lots of wine.

we walked everywhere and did so much.

everyday was packed to the brim

that when he left, i had nothing to do

and soo much time on my hands!

all in 3 days. phew.

and still there's so many things

to see and do.

i'm gonna take everything in stride

and spread things out.

but at the same time, i will

take advantage of all the time i have...
